I am cursed. I am a poet. There are no voluntary poets. I don't know about poets who have to
write poems, and then we are determined to try to get someone to read them even though we
don't care what anyone thinks about our poems ... because we had to write them anyway.

If you say my poems paint some true aspect of life and have special meaning for you, then I can
die happy. My work has succeeded. It's a pretty simple life.

There are three rules to writing poetry.

I have already mentioned one is that you HAVE to write poems. The great poet, Winnie the Pooh,
    best illustrates two and three.

The second rule: Pooh said, "And that's the whole poem. Do you like it, Piglet?"

"All except the shillings," said Piglet. "I don't think they ought to be there."

"They wanted to come in after the pounds," explained Pooh, "so I let them. It is the best way
to write poetry, letting things come."

The third rule: Pooh later added, "Because Poetry and Hums aren't things that you get, they're
things that get you. And all you can do is go where they can find you."

I hope you will read my books and they will wake you up and you will see an interesting, different,
imaginative perspective on everyday life events that will help you will find more purpose and
meaning to your everyday existence even though some of them don't rhyme.

I want you to be able to take these books, open them anywhere and find a verse that is
understandable and thought provoking. If that is the case, then I have done everything I set
out to do. At no point is it necessary for you to agree with me. My personal goal for each book
is to express myself with absolute authenticity. I hope you will see in these a simple reality of
life that will show me as kindred spirit or at least a truthful observer of the common lives
    that we all lead.

Please read a few examples of my poems. Blessings to you all, and thanks for your support.

My crippled poetry begins to dance
With the light of God's name.
His name brings the angel of words
Into the house of my mind.
